Q?

Frequently Asked Questions

A.

Can anyone use your services?

Yes, we work for a diverse range of clients with differing requirements.  Customers include the elderly or infirm, people with disabilities, those recovering from illness and their families who are in need of respite.

Who are your staff?

All staff have provided satisfactory references, completed an Enhanced Access NI (Criminal Record) Check and are fully insured for both Employers and Public Liability.  We understand you need complete confidence in who you let in to your home and our thorough processes ensure that is what we deliver.

Will I always have the same member of staff?

Yes, the same member of staff will be assigned to you each week or fortnight, whichever you choose.  This will enable them to understand your requirements and provide continuity.  Should that person be sick, we will endeavour for someone else to carry out their duties that day.  If you ever decide you would like a different worker, for whatever reason, we will arrange this immediately.

What is your hourly rate?

We have a flat rate of £12 per hour. This covers the services you require, the knowledge that all workers are trustworthy and insured, a continuous service that we guarantee, and the peace of mind of dealing with a reputable local company.

Can I claim any of the cost back from the government?

It’s possible you will be entitled to financial help from the NHS.  Self Directed Support Payments are when the NHS assess your needs and then give you a sum of money to buy in services such as ours.  You should speak to your local Social Services Department or if you need assistance we can help you by speaking to them on your behalf.

How do I pay you?

Some customers like to set up a Standing Order each month or some like to pay at the end of the month by cheque or cash. We can also accept payments over the phone.  The choice is yours.
